SZE YOU TOMORROW?
My project is shaped by my lived experience of loss, distance, and uncertainty. When I moved to the UK. the pandemic prevented me from returning home, intensifying my feelings of isolation. Szeto, my close friend, became the focus of my work a way to preserve a connection despite the distance. However, after Szeto disappeared upon her return to Italy, my practice shifted from documenting shared experiences to actively searching for her. I incorporated missing person posters, fading figures, and immersive installations to explore how memory deteriorates over time. This project reflects my personal journey-navigating loss, questioning presence, and confronting the uncertainty of absence.
